About the Artist

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in the Seaport town of Port Townsend, Washington.  I am primarily self taught but have studied with many artists taking classes in painting wildlife, portraits, figures, and landscape in oil, acrylic and various drawing media.  My primary focus is wildlife but I also enjoy landscape, portrait, and pets.   Most of my paintings are done in oil and I paint realistically.  My paintings are more likely to be filled with light values than with dark values and with soft subdued color intensity.
